Fermaca Global, in partnership with Enagás, a Spanish gas distribution company, was awarded a 20 year contract by CFE to provide natural gas compression services in the municipality of Soto La Marina, in the State of Tamaulipas, México. Fermaca's bid of 88 million USD was the lowest and is a testament to our scrupulous and cost-effective work.

The parameters of the project include ownership, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the compression station. The compression station will have the capacity of compressing natural gas from 570 MMCFD (million cubic feet) to the maximum daily amount of 1846 MMCFD, from a pressure of 698 psig to 998 psig. Natural gas will be received from the National Pipeline System's 48" primary trunk-line, compressed at the Soto La Marina Compression Station and then finally discharged back into the same pipeline for CFE.

EPC of the Soto La Marina Compression Station will take 18 months and Fermaca will commence compression services to CFE thereafter.
